About Us
The Turning Point District is one of five districts in the Twin Rivers Council. The District serves over 600 youth in 42 units.
Our District's geographic footprint has historical significance as the Battle of Saratoga, fought in the fall of 1777, is recognized as the Turning Point of the American Revolution.
While the Saratoga battles at Freeman's Farm and Bemis Heights area at the southern part of the District, prior to these battles the British suffered heavy losses as they moved through Fort Ann and Fort Edward.
