The Distinguished Citizen Award is presented to individual community leaders who provide outstanding civic service to the youth in the community. Those who receive the award are not necessarily BSA volunteers, but rather individuals who personify the values of Scouting – good citizenship, outstanding moral fiber with a dedication to others, and for living their lives by the Scout Oath and Law. The event raises funds to fuel the mission that provides Scouting programs for over 4,000 families in the Twin Rivers Council.
Please plan on attending this event to celebrate Scouting in our community and to honor this year’s Distinguished Citizen, Reuben R. McDaniel, III.
