Who are we?
With one of the greatest locations available in the country, Camp Wakpominee is the place to be for summer camp. Located on over 1,000 acres in the Adirondack Park of Upstate New York, Camp Wakpominee has overlook views of Lake George and boasts its own lake for boating and swimming.
Our week-long resident camp offers an excellent traditional Boy Scout program with a wide range of rank advancement and merit badge opportunities. The camp also serves as the Council's high adventure base for canoe and backpacking Treks for those older Scouts who want to explore the Adirondacks.
The camp also makes a great destination if you are looking for a weekend camping experience in Adirondack Park. Whether it is in camp activities such as hiking, compass work, cross-country skiing, fishing, or if you are looking for a "home base" while exploring the local area.
