To ensure a smooth check-in process, please remember to bring your completed medical forms. Check-in will be at the Trek Pavilion, where you'll receive all the necessary information and instructions for the day's activities.
While you're welcome to bring your own lunch, we've got you covered with a convenient lunch option for just an additional $5. Enjoy a delicious hotdog, refreshing soda or water, and a bag of chips. It's the perfect way to refuel and recharge for more shooting fun!
Participation in the Rifle MB event is priced at $15.00 per youth. However, please note that the maximum registration limit is set at 16 participants. Therefore, make sure to secure your spot by registering before the deadline on July 19th.
Safety and comfort are our top priorities, so we recommend being prepared for a full day at the range. Remember to bring bug spray and sunscreen to protect yourself from the elements. Additionally, consider packing extra food and snacks to keep you energized throughout the day.

Unlock Your Shooting Skills at Winchester Rimfire Rifle Day!
Get ready for an action-packed day of shooting excellence! On August 5th, the Shooting Sports Committee proudly presents Winchester Rimfire Rifle Day. Join us from 9am to 3pm at the Trek Pavilion, with check-in starting at 8:30am.
Attention all youth participants: to ensure eligibility for this event, you must be Rifle MB qualified and provide verification of your completed Rifle MB. Please note that the merit badges must have a completed date no later than July 29th, 2023. Additionally, the minimum age requirement is 12 years old.
The cost of this exceptional program is $35 per participant, with program fees being non-refundable. We offer an optional lunch for an additional $5, which includes hotdogs, chips, and a refreshing drink. It's the perfect way to satisfy your hunger and stay energized throughout the day.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask that all participants use the provided Wakpominee Rifles and Ammo exclusively. Private rifles or ammo will not be allowed during the event. Rest assured, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and earn qualification badges for various shooting ranks, such as sharpshooter or pro-marksman. The badges will be awarded on the same day, adding a touch of achievement to your experience.
Please note that this program is specifically designed for intermediate shooters. If you register a youth who does not meet the aforementioned requirements, we regret to inform you that they will be turned away and no refunds will be issued. As registration is limited to only 16 participants, we encourage you to secure your spot by registering before the deadline on July 30th.

Experience the Thrills of Action Archery at Camp Wakpominee!
Get ready to take your archery skills to a whole new level of excitement! On August 12th, the Shooting Sports Committee is thrilled to host Action Archery Day at Camp Wakpominee. This event promises to be an exhilarating adventure that combines archery with outdoor exploration and challenges.
During the event, youth participants will embark on a thrilling trek through a carefully designed course, where they'll encounter 3D targets, utilize tree stands, and take aim at various other challenging targets. It's an opportunity to showcase your accuracy, focus, and precision while immersing yourself in a fun-filled archery experience.
We are offering two sessions for you to choose from, each lasting three hours. The morning session will take place from 9am to 12pm, while the afternoon session will be held from 1pm to 4pm. Check-in for the morning session begins at 8:30am, and for the afternoon session, it starts at 12:30pm. Please make sure to arrive promptly to ensure a smooth start to your action-packed day.
Registration for each session is limited to 20 participants, so don't delay in securing your spot. The cost is only $15 per youth, making it an affordable opportunity to participate in this thrilling program.
Participants are allowed to bring their own bows and field-point arrows; however, please note that no other types of arrows are allowed. To ensure safety, all equipment must undergo inspection to meet safety standards and draw weight requirements. We prioritize the well-being of all participants and want to create a secure environment for everyone involved.
To participate in Action Archery, all attendees must be MB Qualified and at least 14 years old. This program utilizes outdoor skills and involves minor climbing, specifically utilizing tree stands. It's an excellent chance to put your abilities to the test while enjoying the natural surroundings.
Please note that lunch will not be provided during the event. However, soda and water will be available for purchase, ensuring you stay refreshed throughout the day. It's important to stay hydrated and energized as you engage in this high-energy activity.
It's worth mentioning that all proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Wakpominee shooting sports programs and equipment purchases. By participating, you not only have an unforgettable experience but also contribute to the continued success and growth of these programs.
