Join us for our 2nd Annual Oh My Gourd! It's a Virtual 5k October 1 - 15th!
Are you a person of any age from anywhere? Then you are invited!
You don't run??? No worries. You can participate in any form or anywhere -- running, walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, rolling, strolling, swimming or any other way.
Let's give everyone pumpkin to talk about. Do the 5K dressed in costume, carrying a pumpkin, or in team clothing. Regourdless of how you participate, make sure you do 16,404 feet or 3.1 miles and have FUN!
Here’s how it works:
- Register for the race at www.trcscouting.org/5k.
- Receive your race materials in the mail before the first day of the race (if registered by August 31).
- Complete your 5k in any manner you choose: running, walking, biking, hiking, rolling, hopping, swimming, kayaking, or any other way. A 5K is 16,404 feet or 3.1 miles.
- Celebrate that you made an important difference by sharing photos before, during, and after on our Facebook page that you’ve participated in the 5K; and encourage others to join in on this regional effort to support Scouting Programs.
We will kickstart the race on October 1st with a LIVE video on our TRC Facebook page. You can start your 5k at the same time or complete it any time through October 15.
NEW this year--Registered youth and adult Scouts can complete the 5k at the Fall Council Camporee!!! Get a special 5k Camporee Patch for doing your 5k at the fall camporee!
