“I graduated from Ohio University in 1971 with a major in Fine Arts and Economics. For over forty-five years, I have been active in the chemical industry. In 2005, I founded AgroChem Inc. with my son, Robert. Together, we have grown the company into an international enterprise with over fifty million dollars in revenue. I have formulated over two hundred commercially marketed products and hold thirteen international patents. Today, I remain active as a product development chemist.
Growing up, I was deeply involved in scouting, serving as a camp bugler and counselor at Camp Saratoga, and earning the rank of Eagle Scout at age sixteen. When my son reached scouting age, I became the Pack Cub Master and later supported his troop. Now, with two of my grandchildren active in scouting, I am once again involved as a Webelos and Arrow of Light Den Leader.”
