Welcome to the 62nd Anniversary Klondike Derby Deep Freeze website, held this past January 24, 25, 2026. Though the temperature never got above 8 degrees Fahrenheit, the competition was heated and everyone had a great time.
This year, 18 patrols from 12 different Troops participated, with Scouts coming from as far away as Massachusetts and Brooklyn.
Due to the cold and the impending storm, the Sunday morning award ceremony was cancelled, and a Zoom Award ceremony was held on Wednesday night, February 4th. A link to watch a recording of the ceremony can be found below. The password to view the recording is “9^LR^2c+”
There are 2 new files in the “Klondike Files” area. The “2026 Honor Roll Update” contains all the ribbons and awards that were given out this year. The “Historic Klondike Scores” contains the top patrols for the last 8 years along with their scores and elapsed times. Patrols can study the history and see what it takes to win the Klondike and become the Ace Patrol. Remember, it’s a race as well as a skills competition.
